Prospective Writer seeks input

I am trying once again (I have manuscript ideas from 1980) to get going on writing...short stories, poems, 4 possible novels. At the moment I am seeking informations....memories or whatever you have about World War II in the United States. My plot line for one of the book ideas surrounds Military families transiting through Panama City and Pensacola. Any help would be greatly appreciated and acknowledged if I ever get published.

Guam is beautiful

Just a note from a Nevada son transplanted by choice to Guam. Many of you may not have heard of this tiny US territory far across the Pacific Ocean. Many of you have heard nothing but bad about this beautiful island. I am here to change both situations. We do not have snakes hanging from the trees like spaghetti. We are a US territory, not a foreign country. We are even on the US dialing system (671).
